August 28, 2006 Phillies 4, Mets 1

Chris Coste makes up for his run-scoring passed ball in the 3rd to give the Mets the 1-0 lead by going 3 for 4 knocking in 2 runs as the Phillies avert the sweep. Jamie Moyer goes to 2-0 as a Phillie with another solid performance. With Tom Gordon currently on the DL, Arthur Rhodes comes in for the 9th and gets his 5th save of the year.

The Phillies are again outhit by the opposing team and still win the game, something that has been happening it seems like a lot lately. But hell, as long as you win the game it doesn't matter who outhits who, now does it? Next up for the Phils - the Washington Nationals.

Also, I mispoke previously about the Mets leading the wild card. They are second in the wild card race, 4 games behind the Houston Astros.
