Cole Hamels goes 7 solid innings to up his record to an impressive 12-1, and Ryan Howard hits his 40th homerun of the year, a 2-run shot in the first inning. The Phillies are outhit by the Cubs again, but still win by a wide margin. Shane Victorino and David Dellucci have two of the most unusual box score lines that you will see, with Victorino's being 2 1 0 1 and Dellucci's at 3 2 0 0. The reason being that Victorino walked twice (scoring once) and had a sac fly for the RBI, while Dellucci walked once and was hit by a pitch, scoring both times. |
