| Just wanted to show you this one, as ex-Red Sox Bronson Arroyo probably has the game of his life. Arroyo pitches a 3-hitter, striking out 10, with a Scott Thorman solo homerun in the 8th spoiling the shutout. Arroyo also went 2 for 3 at the plate, with a 2-run double and a solo homerun (his 3rd homer of the year!!), knocking in 3 and scoring twice! |

Bronson Arroyo hurled a 3 hitter at Great American Bpk where the Cincinnati
Reds beat the slumping Atlanta Braves 6 to 1.
Arroyo(8-6) simply dominated Atlanta. He didn't allow much, just 3 hits and
no walks in 9 innings. Arroyo mowed down 10 Atlanta batters seeing his ERA
drop from 4.81 to 4.58. Cincinnati totaled 8 on the afternoon.
Jason Shiell(2-1) was the losing pitcher. 'He was moving it around and
spotting it very well.' Bobby Cox said. Arroyo pitched a great game. He
deserves all the credit.'
