Shane Victorino goes 3 for 5, scores 2, drives in 3 with 2 doubles, and Chase Utley 4 for 5, scored twice and drives in 3 on a 3-run homer. Down 9-1, the Reds get 5 runs in the 6th to get back into the game, but the Phillies score 3 in the 7th to make 12-6 the final. |

Utley provided much of the offense. He delivered a one-base hit scoring a run
in the 2nd inning, blasted a two-run home run (his 20th of the season) in the
4th inning, banged out a single in the 6th inning and laced a base-knock in
the 8th inning. Philadelphia ended up with 16 hits for the game while
Cincinnati had 11.
