July 26, 2006 A's 10, Red Sox 3

The long ball is king today, with 7 homeruns between the two teams. Big Papi homered in the first, and Youk homered in the 7th. The rest of it was all A's.

Milton Bradley, Frank Thomas and Nick Swisher hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the A's half of the first off Kyle Snyder. Snyder got through the 2nd inning ok, but then when Bradley and Thomas went back-to-back again to lead off the 3rd for a 6-1 A's lead, Snyder's day was done as he mercifully got the hook. 7 hits, 6 runs, 5 homers allowed in 2+ innings, one of the worst starts for a Sox pitcher this season.
