| Curt Schilling gets his team leading 11th win of the year, making up for his last start (4 1/3 innings, 9 runs) with shutout ball until one out in the 8th when Ian Kinsler homered to spoil the shutout. Mike Timlin finishes up the game for the save as the Sox beat the AL West leading Rangers for their 3rd straight win. |

Park.
Boston drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning when
they scored 2 runs on 3 hits. That was all Curt Schilling(11-5) needed. For
the game Boston out-hit Texas 10 to 7.
Mike Timlin recorded his 3rd save. John Rheinecker(3-3) took the loss. He
surrendered 10 hits and 1 walk in 4 and 2/3 innings.
