August 3. 2006 Indians 17, Red Sox 1

For the second time in less than a wek, the Sox get ripped with the Indians doing the damage this time. Josh Beckett was today's victim, as he completely fell apart in the 3rd inning allowing the first 7 batters to reach base, all scoring. Boone walked, Sizemore doubles with Boone going to thrid, Inglett walks to load the bases and Hafner walks to force in a run. Victor Martines slams a grand slam for a 5-0 lead, Blake singles and Hollandsworth doubles. With 3 walks, 4 hits with a single, 2 doubles and a granny, that was it for Beckett. Rudy Seanez then allows a single to Choo to score 2, all runs charged to Beckett.

A Manny homer, number 30 of the year, in the 9th spoiled Jake Westbrook's bid for the shutout, but he still goes the distance. 19 hits for the Indians, with 9 doubles (3 by Grady Sizemore) and 4 homers (2 for Travis Hafner, part of a 3 for 4, 5 RBI, 4 run scored day).
