July 16, 2006 Giants 5, Phillies 4
| You wouldn't know it, but this game was a tight 1-0 Giants lead in a pitchers duel between Brett Myers and Matt Cain for the first 6 1/2 innings. After Myers was pinch-hit for in the top of the 7th, the Giants scored 3 runs off Aaron Fultz in the bottom of the 7th for a 4-0 lead. The Phillies came right back, tying the game with 4 runs in the top of the 8th. However, the Giants would have runners on second and third with one out in the bottom of the 9th and Barry Bonds due up. I intentionally walk Bonds to load the bases, since the only runner that mattered was the runner on third. Ray Durham then hits a single to win the game for the Giants. |

In a dramatic ending at SBC Park the San Francisco Giants won in their last

The game was won by San Francisco with a run in the 9th inning. After an out
