Chase Utley hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies

Adam Bernero(1-0) struggled at times, but was good enough to get the victory.
He gave up 4 runs, 10 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings. Bernero whiffed an
impressive total of 6 Toronto batters. Toronto threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short.
Bernero got help from Tom Gordon who was credited with his 14th save. Casey
Janssen(3-5) was the losing pitcher. Philadelphia scored big getting 5 runs
off him in 4 innings.
When questioned about the loss, John Gibbons said, 'The fans got to see an
exciting game out there tonight. Unfortunately, we couldn't get it done this
time. Next time, though, we'll be the clubhouse with all the smiles.'
