June 19, 2006 Nationals 5, Red Sox 1

Tony Armas Jr. finally gets the elusive first win of the season, as the Nats bullpen was able to hold the lead this time. Both teams had 10 hits, but as you can tell by the score the Sox didn't score any more than one run. 9 left on base, having two runners thrown out at home, and hitting into two doubleplays was their undoing. The Sox tried to comeback in the 9th with two runners on base, but Cordero comes in faces one batter and gets the save.
