Gerald Laird smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Texas Rangers beat the
Boston Red Sox by a score of 9 to 4.

Laird had a big day with his bat. He belted a three-run homer in the 2nd
inning and blasted a solo shot (his 3rd of the season) in the 9th inning.
Boston was out-hit by Texas, 13 hits to 7.
