May 31, 2006 Blue Jays 3, Red Sox 2 (11)
| David Pauley pitches well in his major league debut, with 6 innings, 5 hits and 2 runs allowed. However, lack of run support gave him a no-decision on the day, as after the Sox got 5 hits off Ted Lilly in 6 1/3 innings, they did not get a hit the remainder of the game off the Jays relievers. Keith Foulke is the goat as he comes into the game in the 11th and gives up a double, intentional walk and another double and the Jays win. |
