Roy Halladay(6-2) and Matt Clement(2-6) treated the Toronto fans to a fine
pitching duel at Rogers Centre. The Toronto Blue Jays eventually emerged as
victors over the Boston Red Sox by the score of 3 to 0.
Halladay put on a good performance. He didn't give up much, just 3 hits and 2
walks in 7 innings reducing his ERA from 3.10 to 2.82. B.J. Ryan was perfect
in the ninth giving him his 16th save on the season.
