| The Red Sox bad luck against the Indians is not limited to the post-season. Each of the past two seasons, the Indians have knocked out the Sox in the first round. The Sox jump out to a 4-0 lead capped by a Manny 3-run homerun, but Grady Sizemore hits a 3-run shot of his own to make it a one run game. Rafael Belliard's solo blast in the 7th ties it, and the Tribe score two off Mike Timlin in the 8th to get the win and ruin the Sox's first chance to get to .500 So far this season, Curt Schilling has not issued a single walk. 34 1/3 innings and counting. |
