| Despite the fact that the Red Sox had 11 hits in the game, they come up with the big goose egg on the scoreboard. The reason being that two runners were thrown out at home trying to score, and Mike Lowell grounding into 3 double plays certainly didn't help. I meant to tell you after the previous game that David Ortiz, with 5 homeruns, is tied for the major league lead with believe it or not, new found slugger Jimmy Rollins. |
