April 3, 2006 Cardinals 6, Phillies 1 (Phillies opener)

The Phillies can't get anything going against Chris Carpenter, losing the season opener as he goes the distance while striking out 8. Rough start to the season for Jon Lieber. The Cardinals speed was a thorn in the side this game, as they had 3 steals (2 by So Taguci).
